This is truly...

TAG Heuer Connected Android Watch Hands-On With Full Specs, All Details, Availability

This is truly a beautiful watch... and is really my idea of what a smartwatch should be (all the smart features inside but with a beautifully detailed classical mechanical looking watchface).

Battery life is really key and is supposed to be about 25 hours. Ideally I would still want 3 to 5 days though. The key downside on this watch is the price tag. They have a clever plan there though which allows you to put down another $1,500 in two years and essentially replace this watch with its mechanical equivalent (which normally cost about $5,000 on its own). So it is clear that this watch is not really being pitched at the average man in the street.

But before we all sigh in dismay, have a look at http://www.wareable.com/android-wear/tag-heuer-android-wear-price-release-date-specs-958 which does give some perspective to consider.... whilst the TAG Heuer looks stunning, the 360 x 360 LCD only boasts a pixel density of 240ppi whilst the Huawei Watch has a 1.4-inch 400 x 400 display with a ppi count of 286; the highest of any Android Wear device to date. The soon-to-be-launched LG Watch Urbane Second Edition will trump everyone with a 480 x 480 panel at 348ppi.

So in fact the Huawei and LG watch may well be excellent value... and it could well be worth even paying to obtain a beautifully crafted watchface for those watches....
